Description

For All Abarth's fans. This print is to celebrate the 70th Anniversary of ABARTH. Mr CARLO ABARTH started the company in 1949 to built race cars based mainly on Fiat's cars. Most famous were Fiat Abarth 595 SS et 695 SS and the famous Autobianchi A112 Abarth. The scorpion is the zodiac sign of the founder. This logo is made of differents parts assembled together. Main one is the badge itself (200 mm high 180 mm width) with all places for other parts in other colors. Top Black and white logo is in 3 parts. Exception to the main biggest part which is printed "back on the mirror" all others are should be printed "face on the mirror" to get this glaze finish. Of course you can cut it usnig scotch bright sponge and a have a mat surface instead of brillant one. As you want. Without glue is better but you have to keep an eye on the smaller parts and some particular areas difficult to stick on the mirror. Everything was printed on my stock CR10 with PLA Arianeplast filaments. main part with siver metallic filament. In order to have a good adhesion withtout glue the bed was heated to 72°C and the cabinet (CR 10 is inside this cabinet) to 27°C. Nozzle to 220°C, first layer at 50% speed and 60% high. No support is needed, infill can be around 30% and I used 2 layers for walls. 4 layers on top and bottom. Speed 55 to 10 mm/s depending of the size of the parts. Design was made with Solidworks including a small gap between parts for easier fitment. I added a support made of 3 parts. you have to glue the small bottom part and use a M4 x 30mm screw to fid the foldable leg. My son is a real fan of the current Fiat 500 Abarth and I hope he will be able to buy one in the future. This is a real fantastic sports car with a fantastic noise. Once again Happy birthday Abarth company and thanks to Mr Carlos (Karl) Abarth. Abarth is now Fiat Property hope they will allow me to share this design.
