Audi TT 8N - Gearbox Knob housing
Shared by
3DPrintedCarPartDescription
I was surprised how hard is it to find new gearbox housing for Audi TT 8N, so i decided to print it myself. It is almost identical to the original housing, was only a little bit modified to make it even easier to print. Walls are a little bit thicker to make them stronger. It should be printed up side down. Keep in mind that your bed should be well leveled. Afterwards you need to insert threaded inserts, i have used the original ones. If you are fine with the final look of the print you can leave it alone. I sanded and painted it. WARNING: Keep in mind that upper part of the gear knob housing is exposed to sun and high temperature. I recommend to print it in PETG or even better PC/ABS.
