Audi Universal magnetic Phone Holder - fits between round ventilation i.e.A3 P8

magnetic phone holder inspired by the great mounting constructed by undergroundsurf I already had a magnetic phone holder (google/amazon: Automobio) in the A3 P8, but soon the ventilation mounting ripped out the plastic air guide. This is an as much simplified construction as possible. If you slide out the mobile, just push it down. The back of the mobile needs of course a small steel plate too. The easiest way it to put a thin steel plate between you may used mobile cover and the phone itself. I mounted the Automobio magnet holder with a M3x6mm Allen key screw. You can build the magnet holder yourself by remixing the construction (STEP file also att.) and integrate 3-4 Neodym magnets you can find on eBay. Use a steel plate behind the magnets to increase the holding force. Then put on some sticky silicon sheet/tape (i.e. rescue tape) to avoid having the mobile slip down from the magnets.
