Description

Here is a B5 Audi A4 rear speaker adapter I made. It adapts the stock speaker location and mounting holes to a standard 6.5" speaker. The hole spacing was made for kicker 6.5" but im pretty other speakers will use the same mounting spacing, if not just drill through the adapter. My brother said both of his adapters seem to vibrate a little bit, he is going to try and put some rubber pads below the adapters to stop them from vibrating. I may add posts to the bottom to rest against the deck lid to prevent flex if i can get measurements for how long the posts need to be. I printed one with 30% infill and one with 50% in PLA on an ANET A8. Both were at a.3mm layer height, a lower layer height may increase stability. The 50% infill flexes less, but to prevent the vibration maybe 70% is a better infill number. I have included the Fusion 360 design files if somebody wants to remix the design or add the posts at the bottom to stop the vibration before I get the chance to. NOTE: Flip the part upside down in your slicing software to not use supports, the file has little fillets to locate the bracket into the stock mounting holes.
