Description

This is a remix of the excellent phone mount for the R55/R56 Mini Cooper. I wanted a ball mount instead of the magnet. I have a "CD Slot Mount" and I am changing the head unit in the car. The new one will not have a CD player so I need somewhere else to mount the phone. The ball is 17.4mm. This uses the mount and nut from the CD Slot mount unit. See the pictures for more info. There is two versions of the mount. One for left hand drive and one for right hand drive. Pick the one that puts the phone where you want it. I am aiming to have it closer to the centre of the vehicle so that the USB cable doesn't have to drag across the steering wheel.
