Car Phone Mount Adaptor for Hyundai i30 FD Top Dashboard Compartment
Shared by
3DPrintedCarPartDescription
Summary The original Hyundai i30 model features a dashboard compartment directly above the radio console, with an opening lid. As a pre-GPS model, I use mine to hold my aftermarket GPS in a permanently wired configuration. Others have expressed a desire to use that area to accommodate a phone mount. Based on the common 33 mm diameter magnetic mount available for about AU$1.10 on eBay, this adaptor hooks into the front lip of the dashboard compartment and holds the magnetic base, in a much more secure way than relying on the vent grille. Print Settings Printer Brand: Anet Printer: A8 Rafts: No Supports: No Infill: 100% Filament: Any PLA Notes: Still in development, determining the precise phone mount to be adapted and distance to be covered for optimal display angle and stability. Published now to facilitate communication with the target user.
