Description

The piece is a "in-place" phone mount for my Nexus 6p using a Spigen case. My Honda Civic 2008 FK2 has a mount point on the dashboard for a GPS system, with a 5v 1A power supply, which I intend to make use of for my Nexus 6P. This is my first "complex" 3D model. I have been using SketchUp Make 2017 for this one and have run into quite a few problems with it, though most of them seem to be with my unfamiliarity with the software. There are still quite a number of errors on the object which I intend to fix in upcoming versions. To note,.stl file was an export from the.skp one. --This is a work in progress-- At this point the basic shape is done. Still missing: - mechanism for pressing the release button; - support for the contact plate to get the power from the base plate.
