Description

This is a remix of the Wrangler Dashboard Mount that appears for many iPhone and android smartphones folks use. This one was designed to reposition the cheap Qi charger/cellphone holder that appears in a bunch of social media advertisements off the windshield or dashboard completely. The one we have is sold under the brand 'SimpleFast'. I don't recommend the unit as they are pretty flimsy but with multiple drivers and multiple sized cellphones in the house, its convenient for the best 'half-way solution' we have at the moment. I liked the solid construction of ChitWood's contoured mount and its relatively easy to install and pop-off. (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2769593) so I adapted a 17mm ball mount that repositions the mount just offset from the entertainment/nav panel. I've uploaded the base files, in case you need to adapt for a different size device. This is my first attempt at a release after learning TinkerCad for about 3 days.
