Jeep strut holder (worn rear glass struts)
Shared by
3DPrintedCarPartDescription
The gas struts on my JK Jeep Wrangler were starting to wear out and would not hold up the glass anymore, so I printed this strut helper that snaps on the strut and keeps it up when needed. -You only need 1 of these to hold the rear glass on a Jeep -PLA has been working fine for me but I would imagine in the hot summer days it will shrink over time, maybe use PETG or ABS. -Print orientation with "Jeep Life" facing down on the print bed -strut diameter measures roughly 5/8" so this might also work on other vehicles and also on hood struts.
