Jeep TJ Galaxy Note 9 Phone Holder

ADDED Version 2: Increased the size of the pins and fixed the hanger on the back to be a very tight fit so that no velcro is needed to keep it stable. Designed this for my phone to mount in the Jeep TJ. I wanted it up out of the way, both with the top on and off, without it blowing around or sliding out. I was keeping it by the emergency brake, but once when disengaging, I almost broke the screen with the handle as the phone shifted a little, This mount places it up high where it can be seen for GPS during off-road trips, and music via Bluetooth while driving around. Keeps things off the dash and cannot be seen from the front of the vehicle. I designed this with Openscad - (I am kinda a newbie at it but really like that way of designing!!) The pins are for rubber bands - as this will allow you to slide the phone in and out and the tension will hold the phone in place. Run the bands on the back side. ALSO, I did use a Velcro command strip in the middle of the top piece just to add some security from the phone swinging. My goals is to keep improving this with some upgrades..... like running the rubber bands through the piece so there are no more pins sticking out, redesign on the hook so that it is the full width of the windsheild bracket, and making the hook smaller so the design fits better. But for now, this works great - will see how long this version holds up!
