3DPrintedCarPartDescription
Similar to original cup holders but a completely new design with extra features. I've removed the slot for a handle as this was never used by takeaway cups. Removed the insert to allow for larger cups up to about 80mm diameter TPU spokes keep a cup upright and more secure, even smaller cups Large threaded base screws to the holder to prevent lifting Top ring screwed in position to make the TPU ring replacable I've used countersunk M3 x 7 screws to lock the top ring and TPU in place. I've included an alternative ring that takes M3 x 7 cap head screws if you prefer. The base needs to be printed upside down with supports to the build plate. The remaining parts can all be printed without supports. All parts should load into your slicer orientated correctly. I printed PLA at 10% gyroid infill and 4 walls (with Cura) Rubber ring printed in 95a TPU You will need two small wood screws to attach this the plastic transmission tunnel of the Discovery 1 or 2. The holes should be in the same location as an original cup holder or previous clones.
