Mazda MX5 NA Miata Large Cup Holder
Shared by
Michael ChenDescription
A larger cupholder (3" ID hole) made for the Mazda MX5 NA Miata cupholder support, originally made by 5tr3l0k. Linked here EDIT: 3" ID is perfect. 3.25" is too large. I'm currently still working on this design, so the ID may change a little in the near future. I'm thinking it may need to be 3.25" or so to better fit large fast food style cups. The connector piece was designed to be the same dimension as 5te3l0k's cup holder design. I simply added a fillet to the connector (to alleviate the stress in that area), changed the cut patterns, and increased the inner diameter. As noted by 5tr3l0k, you should print this in ABS or similar material, but PLA should be fine if you don't leave it in a car in the summer. The glass transition temp for PLA is 140F (60C), so just be mindful of how you're storing it so it doesn't reach that temperature.
