Description

Simple box/tube for installing 10 cm speakers behind the seats in a Mazda Miata / MX-5 NB (don't know if NA looks the same). It's secured using the original screws on either side, the ones with the plastic cone-thing. Thus no drilling in the car needed. Though drilling is needed in the tube/tower for the speakers screws. Should be noted if it's not clear from the pictures, my car has no soft-top, only hardtop. There is not space for these if you still have a soft-top. My speakers are 50 mm deep so I made the tower/tube 55 mm. Yes, the speakers are small, but I had them so in they went. Yes the tubes are ugly, I made the model in https://www.tinkercad.com/ and for some reason the smoothest you can get a cylinder is "64 sides". I printed in cheap PLA, https://www.3dprima.com/se/filament/3d-prima-basic-pla-1-75mm-1-kg-grey/a-26002 Again, it's what I had on hand. Printed on my CR-10 MAX with micro switch hotend 0.8 nozzle sliced in Cura layer height 0.32 initial layer line width 105% infill 40 infill pattern cubic infill overlap 40% print temp 225c build plate temp 75c initial layer flow 105% fan speed 70 initial fan speed 10 no supports brim.
