Replacement Heater control knob insert for 2003 Nissan X trail with standard heater (Not climate control). I broke my heater control knob and went to the Wreckers for a replacement thinking I could get one for a few dollars. They would only sell me a complete heater control box for $150. I decided I would have ago at printing something. The original knob is two parts. The outer part is black plastic but the inside piece that was broken is clear as it is meant to let the light trough. I printed it in Taulman alloy 910 as that is what I had. It would be interesting to try in something clear like PETG. It seems to fit OK. it doesn't at the moment fit all the way on but it does the trick. I forced it a bit before cleaning it up and damaged the end of the shaft that it slides onto so don't force it too much.
