Description

These are LED headlight dust caps for the 1991-2001 Acura/Honda NSX. It features three downward-facing vents designed to keep water out while letting the LED modules breathe. The LED fan pulls cooling air through the rear vent. Air passes through the heat sink and exits via the two side vents. Heat sinks on LED bulbs vary significantly in size from one vendor to another so I've provided a range of cap sizes that should accomodate any LED of your choice. I haven't tested every size though so it's your responsibility to make sure your cap doesn't interfere with other components of the vehicle or cause any other problems. I printed mine in black ABS. I like ABS for this application because it's fairly tough and heat-resistant. However warping is often an issue with ABS so it can be a pain to print. You could also try PET-G which is very similar to the OEM cap material which is fiber-reinforced PET-G. I do not recommend PLA for this application.
