Description

Designed this switch blank adaptor to hold a dual USB extension cable for an aftermarket radio installation in a 1st Gen Tacoma. This adaptor avoids having to modify the original OEM switch blank part. The adapter has small clips that clip into the switch opening. The USB extension has small clips that clip into the adaptor. The USB clips are not as strong as the clips that hold the adaptor into the opening, so a few dabs of hot glue was placed on to the back side of the adaptor on the USB's clips. No hot glue needs to be put on any original Toyota parts. USB Extension: https://www.amazon.com/BATIGE-Square-Extension-Motorcycle-Dashboard/dp/B078LXX3MD Printing: Printed at 100% infill for strength. Uses 1.13m of filament (3.45g). Support is needed. (Used the default PrusaSlicer-generated support.) Printed on a Prusa i3 MK3S+ printer. The adaptor should push into the switch opening with a clean fit. The Fusion 360 file is included to allow for easy Remixing of the design.
