Description

I combined these 2 things and made this combo badge. It measures 165mm wide X 114mm tall X 15mm deep. It fits my 2015 Tacoma perfectly. I paused my print when it was done with the logo, and was just printing the letters, and I pulled out the black filament and jammed in the white filament and resumed the print. I printed this in ABS, using my standard ABS settings. I haven't actually mounted this on my truck yet. The white ABS is a UV filament and it changes color when exposed to sunlight. It is supposed to change from white to purple, but it changes from white to pink, so I won't be installing this badge on my truck. Plus now I think there is too much contrast between the white and black. TOYOTA jumps out at you too much. I'll print it again with the black ABS logo and maybe grey or blue for TOYOTA One last minor detail: the spot on my grill where this badge mounts to is not flat. I had to heat up the print with a plumber's torch and warp it a little bit.
