XRAD'S Land Rover Discovery 2 License Plate Light Surround

Tired of those dim license plate lights? Get some 3w led lights off ebay Eagle eye LEDs 3w: https://www.ebay.com/itm/20X-3W-LED-DRL-Eagle-Eye-Car-Fog-Daytime-Reverse-Backup-Parking-Signal-Light-12V-/222328451370 and print this housing. Uses a 500ohm (or close) resistor on the positive lead as lights are a bit too bright for license plate needs. Don't worry, if you hook up reverse polarity, led does not fry. Re-use the OEM rubber surround and the spade connectors. Use some new #6 speed nuts(timmerman nuts) and #6 stainless screws to hold in place. #8 might work too but you have to make some room for the nut. A dab of 2-part devcon plastic welder to hold the nut and seal the LED housing to the surround, and a bit of heat shrink and good to go. I provided a 3D print with round PADS as well as the base model. Padded one prints for me better than brim or rim.
