1967 Ford Mustang heater valve replacement

Hi there, a friend of mine designed a part for his new heater valve for his 1967 Ford Mustang. But he's not on thingiverse and I asked him to publish that thing, he agreed. the problem is: his old (orgininal c-code) heater valve was leaking and the problem was the valve sealing of the heater valve, that was broken. It was over the years not centered anymore so it started leaking from the bores intended for the membrane. So we had a look on the internet for replacement parts, but it was always the same: the orginal part is not available on any stores, some people sell it for the price of large gold nuggets, i don't know why. So what we've done is buying the replacement parts of 1970's mustang (because it is not the plastic housing as it is sold for under 1969, instead its out of brass or something like that). the Problem with the replacement part is, you cannot screw it like the old one on ist metal plate. The original mounting metal plate will be still used, and on the place of the old heater valve you'll need to adapt the printed part. then you can clip the heater valve to the printed part. be aware: PLA will melt down due to the engines heat and ABS (same as PLA) are not resistent to fuels. But we printed this adaptor plate in ABS, if it breaks, we'll print it again:) In the picture you'll see the heater valve we bought good luck.
