Description

This is a double din mount for the 1980-1986 Ford trucks and Broncos. It works well with the custom-style radio bezel as seen in the pictures. If you have the other type you'll either need to do some bodywork to the plastics to make it look nicer or if you wait I will be coming out with a trim piece to put around the hole to make it look better. If you have air conditioning you'll have 2 options. Either modify your existing ducting or wait a little longer and I'll have a ducting mod. It's currently being prototyped and I'm ironing out the last few problems. I recommend printing this with either ABS or ASA. For mine, I have printed it facing down but this isn't ideal for the strength of the tabs that hold the radio to the plate. It will print standing up or on its side but it will take a lot longer and it will use a lot of material for supports. I am going to try annealing it in the oven to see if that will help and I recommend anyone printing it on its face should do the same. This is submitted under a non-commercial license and is not for resale. If you or someone you know has a printer and wants to print a one-off then feel free. If I see anyone trying to sell these in bulk then my files will be deleted and no more new ones will be coming out, and there is a lot more to come. Tips are not necessary but they would be very much appreciated and will help get more parts out to you. Thank you!
