This is a replacement for the plastic socket connector that retains the top stud of the front parking/turn signal lamp assembly to the headlight panel on 1998 - 2000 North American Ford Rangers. These plastic connectors become very brittle with age and will probably disintegrate if you have to replace the corner lamps on these trucks. Without them, it's very hard to get the lamps to fit correctly as the only other retainers are the two screws at the bottom of the assembly.
