BMW i3 Faceplate DTC button
Shared by
3DPrintedCarPartDescription
This is a faceplate for a BMW i3 where the DTC button was retrofitted from a BMW i8. The existing faceplate misses the hole for the DTC button. Made with ASA for higher car temperatures, the clips on the side are a little bit thicker to prevent easy breaking. It's a little bit tight during installation, but feasible. I used 260 degrees C, 100 degrees C for the bed, slow print, 0.15 mm layer height and a little bit overextrusion of 3-5% for better layer adhesion. I enclose the Freecad file, so you ca easily adapt any changes. Have fun!
