Description

Anyone who owns a Mazda CX-5 will know that the location of the console cupholders is terrible. I designed this cupholder to fit in the very narrow slots of the vents and use the jut-out below the vent to support the weight of the beverage. These were printed in PLA, however PLA will sag over time. I have re-printed them in PETG for better resilience to the sun and extreme temps. These are designed in two pieces so that they can be printed without any supports on the main body. That said, supports should be added to the end of the arms that hook on to the vents. I used Cura to modify settings for just the connector portion to 100% infill and supports. Layer height:.3 or finer Infill: 30% Except arms where set to 100% (See pics) Recommended filament: PETG, PC, ASA, ABS, etc. Notes: NOTE: Supports are NOT required on main body... just the connector ends.
