Fiat 500 / Ford Ka Suspension Strut Top Cover

My wife’s had both a Fiat 500 and a Ford Ka (Mk2). Both suffered the same problem of the dished plate on top of the suspension struts filling with rainwater and rustIng making the job of removal harder. So, this is my design of a suspension top cover. I only found one outlet selling these at £6 each plus postage. This just slips over the M12 strut centre bolt and stays in place with the rib in the centre ‘peg’ to grip the thread. I printed mine inverted for easier support removal. It was also printed with a 0.4 nozzle/.28 layer height on a Creality Ender 3. A smaller layer height may give smoother results but as it was functional more than aesthetic, it was good enough for me. Print filament was PLA. Size is approx 80mm wide by 20mm tall (although I adjusted this to 18 in Cura).
