Description

Put a pod filter in your Fiesta and hear the succ. This adapter is designed for the UK/Australia variant of the Mk 7 Fiesta ST with the 1.6L EcoBoost engine. It might work on a US Fiesta, but don't be shocked if the car doesn't like it. Our cars don't like your intakes either and online stores here are flooded with them... Assembly will require some super glue. Use medium or gel types. You will likely need to tune your car with an appropriate stage 1 or 2 tune or you will get the service light popping up when you cruise at 80Km/h or more. This won't hurt your car, it's just the ECU complaining that it's getting slightly too much air. Your ECU will restrict the engine to a max boost of ~5psi until you restart the car. However my car doesn't really complain much with town driving and short bursts of acceleration, so you can at least have a bit of fun with it untuned or on a stage 1 tune that doesn't make use of an upgraded intake. Filters that I know that fit are the K&N RG-1001 and Supercheap Auto's Multi-fit Pod Filter, though they both are a bit long and only fit with some droop, so if you have a hard intake pipe, you might find those filters wont fit.
