Description

This is a battery hold-down wedge for an unknown car make (I think Ford or GM), so if it looks familiar, let me know what it is from. I included pictures of the black original next to my printed blue one. You may notice a few differences in the photos. My version was meant to be a functional match rather than an exact match. The design software I used has some limitations, so the bolt hole is not a perfect hole, but a stepped bore. The bumps you see on the original are replaced with straight rows to "bite" into the battery. I used a thick perimeter of 10 and 50% infill since these can have some significant tension on them. That may be overkill though. I used PLA to make this, but that is not a great material for temperatures in the engine compartment.
