Description

Upgrade method for altering a US model center console as it won't fit and it is a reasonable way to get it somewhat in the right shape. A unit to modify a US version to the EU version. This is in no way intended for "easy replacement" it will require considerable work and alteration as the US model of the dashboard extends further than the EU model and needs some cutting down and something to replace the piece holding the "airbag" sign in place. It will require modification and epoxy work. This is not a "diy" thing and requires some skill to make it work. Also no guarantees it will fit your model as it requires cutting in the original center console part. "Original" is the one I have in my car as it was the one I tried with one of the console I had. I destroyed the other one before being able tot test the next one I made and I stuck with the original. Image is of an earlier version. If you have a sony dashboard: use the sony version and lots of glue/epoxy/sandpaper.
