Ford Ranger 2018 Glove Box Light Bracket

Description

My 2018 Ranger didn't come with a glove box light so I wanted to add one. The design utilizes an existing cutout in the dashboard so there's no cutting or drilling, you'll just need to unclip and remove the rectangular blanking plate at the top center of the opening for the glove box. I used a spare RGB LED I had from my printer which is virtually identical to an Arduino compatible version also sold (https://www.jaycar.com.au/arduino-compatible-rgb-led-module/p/XC4428). The LED board is 5v which works well since I have a USB power source nearby from a pass through dash cam battery (https://www.linelink.com.au/products/yk-labs-its-cell-bi-750-battery-pack-for-dash-cams). If you plan to use a 12v source you'll need to add one or more appropriate resistors in series with the + supply.
