Front cup holder, automatic transmission, left hand drive for BMW vehicles

Older German cars are notorious for having bad cup holder, the BMW E39's cup holders are some of the worst. Here is what's wrong with the front OEM cup holders: -They are flimsy and weak so cups tip over. -The bottoms are shallow so any cup with more than 2" of drink in it will tip over. -The centre console design tapers backward as it goes up so any long cups tip backward. -The cup holder are located in front of the climate controls, heated seats and parking sensor button, so you cannot access those buttons if there is a cup in the cup holder! -The climate control sensor is locate above the cup holder so hot drinks (e.g. in the winter) turn on the AC, and cold drinks (e.g. in the summer) turn on the heater! So it's not only the OEM design that's bad but also its location. In my design I solved both the design and location problems. I use this cup holder in my car (see image) and it works and looks great: No tipped over cups, no spills or burns, no tempering with the AC temperature, and no blocking of any controls! My cup holder design does not interfere with the stereophonic function of the transmission, so you still get to enjoy changing gears when you want to! Please note that this cup holder work only for: (1) 1997-2003 BMW 5-Series. (2) Automatic transmission. (3) Left hand drive. And please note: (A) I am not responsible for any damage this design may cause to your car--install it at your own risk! (B) I am not responsible for any harm this design may cause any person--use it at your own risk! Good luck and enjoy!
