Description

The Stock Scion FRS / Subaru BRZ / Toyota 86 has a "sound tube" that connects the intake to the interior of the car. When this is removed for various reasons you need to plug the hole left in the intake. This is a plug properly sized to do that. Print in ABS, glass transition at 220f should be plenty for this part. I printed in PLA because I needed this quickly and it was all I had. PLA's glass transition point is around 140f, at this point it will become rubbery (not melt but can deform). While the intake should be cooler than that it doesn't leave a lot of headroom. I drove in stop and go traffic with intake temps measuring around 150-160f and this part was no worse for the wear but I wouldn't trust it long term in PLA.
