Description

My work truck is a 2012 GMC 3500 with a 12' box attached. The knob for the window cranks on these vehicles are of piss-poor design and material. So i fixed it, no thanks to GM. The print is one piece and utilizes a "captive nut" system. I designed it to not need any supports. All you do is print the knob face down (design side down), pause the print after printing the 11.00mm layer, insert the nut (nylon side down) and resume printing. Hardware needed other than printed part: - one of a 5/16" x 1.25" bolt (coarse thread, 18 TPI) - one of a 5/16" flat washer - one of a 5/16" nylon lock nut (coarse thread, 18 TPI) I've used this as a replacement knob in my 2012 GMC and in a coworkers 2006 GMC. I've been told it will fit on any GMC/Chevy van or truck from 2003-2018, if anyone can confirm or refute please leave a comment and I will keep the description updated.
