Land Rover Cruise Control

3DPrintedCarPartDescription
Designed for people with old land rovers like Defender/ Perentie/ County/ series 2/ series 3/ series 3A. These old vehicles have a hand throttle, which is literally a knob attached to a cable running to the foot pedal. In a new vehicle these function well, but in a vehicle like mine that's 26 years old - they slip as you hit the bumps. The army trick was to wedge a small block of wood under them. This was effective, but not as easy to remove in a hurry, and didn't offer any adjust-ability. This little design is pretty simple, and requires a single 3mm screw to secure it. there have been a number of revisions to this design, I highly recommend that you try the "rounded V3.stl" Please note that this device will prevent your engine revs from dropping when you lift your foot. Source files included for your modding pleasure. It goes without saying that: I am not responsible or liable in any way shape or form for any misfortune, injury, loss of life or income/posessions as a result of using this item. Use it at your own risk. I make the assumption that if you are old enough to drive, you are old enough to make a wise choice about your own safety - and that you should know what you are doing.
