Description

My van has this useless hole in the dash. I came across an_da_liu's cool mp3 player designed to fit exactly in that spot and decided to make this. It took a few versions, including one that hard mounted the cellphone case to the part that goes into the dash (this needed support, LOTS of support, it looked like I had printed a brick.. This version is pretty good. It allows you to just lift off the phone, while in its case. A notch in the back of the phone case marries to a tab on the dash "cup" I added a small lip and a divider in the cup if one wanted still use it for change etc UPDATE - I modified the design of the phone case to strengthen the lower tabs. I think I got the holed in the right place and size to allow for most 1/8 plugs and charger plugs, while keeping the strength intact. I also separated in to two stl files.
