Description

After the car wash place used silicone cleaner on the little insert that goes in the bottom of the cup holder, my can of Diet Mug Root Beer started sliding around in turns, and sloshing out of the can. This adapter fixes the problem. The inside diameter is slightly larger than a soda can. It prevents the can from sliding around, yet the can is still easily inserted and removed. Although the can has sufficient clearance, there is a slight air resistance effect. I like this, but if you don't, you could add some "exhaust channels" on either the inside or outside faces. Be sure to flip the object 180 degrees when added into the slicer program. You want the wider part on the print surface. This will probably fit several different year models, but mine is a 2016. Update: Also fits a 2018 Outback. And don't use PLA, it will absorb any moisture on the outside of the can ("sweat"), expand, and the can won't fit anymore. Didn't figure that until it was warm enough for the can to sweat. The one printed in ABS version hasn't had a problem yet.
