Description

In the Model Y, there wasn't a good place to store the J1772 adapter. This design uses the charger emergency release compartment of the M3/MY as a place to clip in a holder. This design adds a completely form fitting for the Tesla HPWC style connector. I've included the OpenSCAD model I built for the Tesla Holder portion. Finally, there is a Blender file that has all the pieces put together in case you need to adjust a cllp or re-use the holder design. ## Installation Instructions To insert the holder, you will need a little pressure (it fits very snug so it won't fall out). To remove the holder, pull down on the ring. It may require a pry tool as it's a very snug fit. ## Printing Notes Cura slicing. 0.2mm, Supports Required, 60% In-Fill Rotated to have the ring vertically. This is optimal print time, but, also provides strength and support for the clips.
