Tesla Model 3 sunglass tray in center console
Shared by
3DPrintedCarPartDescription
This is a sunglass tray that sits in the middle console area of the Tesla Model 3. I designed this to accommodate my sunglasses, keys and work ID, while allowing access to tissues in a box sitting underneath the tray. This has been printed with PETG. You can also print this in ABS. Do not use PLA as it will definitely warp even at 100 deg F. There are two versions available: tray_v2 has walls that are 1mm thick, and tray_2mm_thick has walls with 2mm thickness. The model with thicker walls is more tolerant to printing issues like layer shifts. If you want to customize the depth, etc., I have included an OpenSCAD file that you can play with and adjust the settings to your needs.
