TomTom XL Cradle for Toyota Hilux Cup Holder
Shared by
3DPrintedCarPartDescription
After fixing a TomTom XL which had it's USB SMD socket ripped off, I needed a simple attachment device for my Toyota Hilux, Using a three (3) piece design, a ball/socket mechanism allows rotation of Tomtom and the cupholder clip allows cradle to slide along edge of cup holder. The Tomtom holding frame pins the GPS in eight (8) points, making it very secure... A jubilee (pipe clamp) has been added to add the required tightness to the ball/socket mechanism. This reduces stress forces on plastic and should stop the 3D plastic from failing prematurely.. Shall let you know how many km the cradle lasts for.
