Toyota Tacoma 1G transmission breather vent relocation
Shared by
3DPrintedCarPartDescription
This is an adapter to relocate the transmission breather vent on a manual transmission 1gen (ie. first generation) Toyota Tacoma. The purpose of relocating the vent is to prevent water ingress into the transmission. It definitely works on a 2001 SR5 MT, other years might have subtle variations so YMMV. Note that you need two such adapters as there are two vents on the transmission. The transfer case and the front diff are raised from the factory. The rear diff needs a different nipple adapter and a hose. Snaps unto the nipple and has room for a small clamp to tighten. The barbed end fits a 3/8" hose.
