Volvo Key (V70/S70) 90's
Shared by
Michael ChenDescription
YOU NEED TO SACRIFICE A WORKING VOLVO KEY TO FINISH THIS PROJECT The plastic heads on Volvo keys from the 1990's always get sticky and dirty. So I decided to print a new one aaaand it's better than original :) You have to cut open your old volvo key to extract the transponder for the immobilizer and the key itself. The transponder is very fragile - be careful when cutting into the plastic. You have to pause the print at the layer where the pocket for key is finished, then insert your key and the transponder and resume the print. Set a pause command at the correct layerhight in your slicer to insert the key and transponder.
