2018 Ford F-150 Switch Plate
Shared by
3DPrintedCarPartDescription
I needed to have a switch added to my 2018 Ford F150 truck and did not want the installer to drill a hole in the plastic panel below the steering wheel. My 2WD truck came with a plastic coin holder in the space where a 4x4 selector switch would normally be if you had the 4x4 drive train. I was able to pull the coin holder out quite easily. I designed a switch plate that will be held in by double sided foam tape (3M). I have included plates for switch stem diameters of 1/2", 9/16", 5/8",11/16". 3/4", and 13/16". Sanded, spray painted with plastic primer, then final coats of flat black. It is working well. I might re-design it to be a bit thicker so that I can counter sink a couple of screws to use with some automotive slide on clip nuts instead of the tape.
