Audi A4 B6 Heater hose quick connector PLUG
Shared by
3DPrintedCarPartDescription
The quick connector between the Audi A4 B6 often cracks and gives you a slow coolant leak which most, top off to compensate since its not that bigger deal. However, these connectors often snap severing the connection between the heater hose and the coolant flange. This plug will squeeze into the broken connector from the flange side containing your coolant until you receive the replacement parts in the mail. Its tapered a few percent to give a tight fit. To give the printed part the strength to actually plug the connector you will need to anneal the print, 70C / 170f ( in the oven for an hour, then let cool with the oven without removing) Quite often there will be shrinkage from the annealing process, so you will probably have to scale the print 105% to allow for the shrinkage. When you plug the connector you can insulate the print by using a 20mm washer cut out from an old inner tube, and a similar silver foil washer placed between the print and the flange.
