cigarette lighter sleeve for BMW vehicle
Shared by
3DPrintedCarPartDescription
The cigarette lighter console housing broke creating a perfect hole that the lighter slips through. This was my solution and first contribution to thingiverse. Feel free to remix change anything you want as my design works but is still rather primitive. It fits perfectly in the hole and has a slight cone shape in the cylinder to create pressure. once i printed this, I then cut stress relief lines along the cylinder so it wouldn't snap. There are two rectangular holes in the lighter itself, I heated the cylinder slightly and pressed it into thos rectangular holes so the lighter wont slip around. I printed this part in PLA with normal settings. Hope it helps someone else.
