Description

This is a simple bracket that will mount a 6.5" speaker in a Fiat 500 door. Below are some caveats about this install specific to the Fiat. * The stock speakers have rivets that must be drilled out. * There is no way to get behind the speaker without removing the vapor barrier. The mount as pictured was bolted in place; this install process will require getting behind the vapor barrier. Another solution I'm looking into is installing rivet nuts so the speaker can be accessed simply by removing the door panel. * The wires to the speaker come from the front; I did not accommodate for this in my design. * Some of the four inner bolts have metal behind them. * Stock speakers in the Fiat are very efficient; I wouldn't recommend replacing them without being prepared to get a new amp as well. * In my install I sealed the door to make it behave more like a speaker box. This dramatically increased the bass from the doors but I have developed a rattle already. I will update this if I have to alter the design.
