Description

A parametric drawer with an optional handle that holds slim items such as smartphones. Fits inside the rectangular storage gap above the radio in the dashboard of a Fiat Panda 169 (built between 2003 and 2012). The default handle gap size of 11 mm should be a snug fit for a typical cased smartphone, but if your phone is thicker or thinner, this model is fully customizable in OpenSCAD. You can also disable the handle in case you simply want to cover that awkward gap in the dashboard. The bespoke fit and the angle of the dashboard help keep the drawer in place. You can further increase stability by storing weights inside the drawer. I release this model and its SCAD code into the public domain, so feel free to do anything you please with it without asking for my permission. But if you wish to honor my work, a tip is still appreciated.:).
