Description

Wanted to experiment with making a replacement badge for my 2018 Ford Explorer. I couldn't find any existing projects that seemed to emulate the real badges, so I made this one. This is a 7" wide badge meant for the rear hatch, but should be scalable to any size. I plan to measure and upload the front grille badge (9") too after I print that one. I printed it with the unmodified Dynamic print profile in Cura with 10% Cubic infill on my Ender 3 v2. Total print time was 06:20, the Dynamic profile works really great but is super slow... I plan to sand the finished result and maybe paint it, I'm not sure how the PLA will hold up to the elements but should be fun to see! I'll update with some pics once I get it on the truck.
