Gen6 Camaro Tow Loop Cover Mod
Shared by
3DPrintedCarPartDescription
In order to install the factory tow loop or an aftermarket tow hook on a Gen6 (2019+) Chevy Camaro, you have to remove a cover, which leaves exposed a small but noticeable area of the grill. Most people who use tow hooks either remove them and replace the cover when they're not at the track, or they don't mind the somewhat unsightly opening. I thought it would be fun to create an adapter to modify the cover so that I could keep it installed with the tow hook installed. I glued the adapter to the cover and then used a band saw to cut out an area of the top rail, providing room to insert the tow hook.
