Mustang Trunk Panel Fastener
Shared by
3DPrintedCarPartDescription
This is a replacement fastener for the rear trunk panel (the panel inside the trunk, covering the tail lights) for a 2005-2009 Ford Mustang. It may very well be used in other years and models as well. The factory part is made to just push in, and unscrew to remove. After several cycles of removal/installation, the tangs that catch the threads tend to wear out and it won't stay in place on the threaded stud any longer. Not sure what these cost at the dealer, but they're about $8 each plus shipping from the aftermarket. Instead of spending $20+ to replace them, I just modeled them and printed up a couple.
