Nissan VQ35HR / VQ37VHR Connecting Rod Cap Splitter

I was in need of a connecting rod cap splitting tool for my stroker VQ37HR engine build and didn't feel like forking out $115+ for a tool i probably won't need for a long time afterwards. When your dealing with expensive engine parts its best practice to not use a hammer to assembly or disassemble, particularly the connecting rod caps, hence the need for a rod splitter. Uses a standard 5/16" X 1.00" bolt, nut and washer for the splitting force. Designed to split a rod big end cap with an ID of appox. 2.125". I did try to make this in FreeCAD so anyone could modify for their needs but free time is short with a 6 month old so i modeled it in my native CAD software CREO 3.0. If you have a different size needed feel free to contact me an I can post a different size.
