Ram 1500 GPS Mount/Sunshade

3DPrintedCarPartDescription
Update: Added sides to aid in shielding back of the GPS from the sun, as well as added a cable bracket to prevent the cable from snaking underneath the GPS. Also replaced many Fillets with Chamfers to enhance structural strength, and several other minor tweaks. Will need to drill the mount holes out with a 3/16" drill bit. Original Post This GPS holder mounts to the dash just above the Infotainment screen. I designed it because my standard GPS holder wasn't cutting it. Where I live, my GPS keeps overheating from the sun. This GPS holder should not need any additional screws or hardware. Just remove the rubber platform, remove the screws, and mount this holder with the same screws. This version is smaller than the one I am testing, but should work with a GPS unit that is 80mm tall. If you have a recommended improvement to increase compatibility or durability, let me know. You can also play with the included f3d file.
