RearView Mirror Magnetic Quick Release Mount

3DPrintedCarPartDescription
This is a mount I created for my ND Miata and Hyundai Kona that uses cheap Neodymium Magnets from Amazon and some Home Depot parts. The magnets I ordered say they are 1.26" in diameter, but in reality they are more like 1.1". They cost about $10 and these are the ones I ordered, but you can get them from anyone: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07L48XL2R/ It uses a 10-32 nut and bolt from home depot to secure the clamp and also a 1.5" diameter washer to act as a metal base. You also need a 1/4" - 20 threaded nut and bolt for the camera mount which you can easily find also at Home Depot. The inserts are threaded to be able to push the magnets and metal base to stay firmly in place. The octagonal shape is to be able to lock it into place. With the strong magnet and metal base, it holds very firm and does not budge even on bumpy roads with a small action camera. I printed the main clamp with supports only from the build plate.
